One of my white male friends posted on FB this morning that Clinton supporters need to find common ground with Trump supporters and reach out in love "because we all want the same thing." Yanno, I'm not obligated to find common ground with people who voted for a ticket that dehumanizes me and damn near everyone I love. And we DON'T all want the same thing; the election made that abundantly clear.
It is the rankest privilege to tell Clinton supporters to find common ground with people who want to literally kill them.
I wish the BBC Miss Marple were streamable somewhere.
You might try pbs streams of Mystery (Masterpiece Mystery, I think they call it now?), at least some Miss Marple may be available through that.
Hate makes you stupid.
I wish we didn't keep getting taught this lesson.
I'm just so afraid of what "taking back our country" is going to mean. Like, physical fight-or-flight reaction afraid.
I'm so curious what Trump supporters who are not self-identified white supremacists think they were voting for. Wait, no, not curious, more just recognizing I don't know and can't imagine.

A couple of my former-military coworkers apparently had their feelings hurt by Black Lives Matter so that's a thing. And these are guys with good secure jobs, who will have a double federal pension, and so forth. They're not economically insecure. It's "fuck you, I got mine" with some extra racism and misogyny.
Timelies all!
Had my orthopedist appointment today. I can go crutch-free now, and I can stop wearing the brace in a week to 10 days.

Better paying jobs, religious freedom, pro-life judges, protecting gun rights, supporting the police, defeating Terrorism, restoring American strength in the world, etc... I can think of lots of things.
I feel really bad for Obama. I can't imagine what it will feel like to have everything you've built burned down.

He has to turn the White House over to a racist supported by the motherfucking KKK.
I think I'm moving my comfort watching to Galavant. Not that there's a lot of that either, but it's very silly, so I'm enjoying it.
(I'm not ignoring you guys with the political talk. I just can't.)
