Argh. I see on FB that layoffs have started at work. I guess I will find out tomorrow who all is gone. I assume if I was laid off someone would have called to tell me, but who knows?

Peak pms: my legs feel like lead, you could light a wick on my face and I could smell my coworkers from 10 ft away (Jesus, stop breathing) and I hate everyone.
But the shift work dry run got moved to Jan. Right when historically we get blizzards.

In more amusing FB news (I have dumped the MLM boss), a good friend of mine from high school posted a link to a video that supposedly showed how to make red beans and rice, but they did terrible things to those beans. The post is now full of comments from all of my high school friends, exclaiming in solidarity about the total wrongness of that video.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Moving to Michigan from LA, we were looking forward to things being cooler. Sadly, we are in the middle of a heat wave, and a house without AC when it's in the 90s is not conducive to unpacking, or anything, really.
We do have a super-loud house fan in the attic which is great once it cools down at night.
