We have a big RV that J is reviewing and the company made reservations at campground at a cute little town called Frankenmuth. We got there last night and I was trying to be a good supportive partner about this whole thing. When you travel in a big-ass RV, you park it and hook it up and you can't just tool around looking at stuff. One of our dogs is an old arthritic dude and we could not walk the half-mile into town. I was trying my best to enjoy the tight quarters and the fact that we had to take turns hanging out in town. Finally, J sat up in the lumpy bed and said, "I hate this. I want to go home." I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER.
We left early this morning, drove the long scenic route home and then went out to lunch. We are just not RV people. Even fancy new RVs stuffed with all kinds of features (It had three TVs!).
Well, if you're ever back in Frankemuth, you should probably go boggle at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland.
my parents tow a car behind their RV for that very reason.
My irritating interaction of the day was my coworker telling me that if a technical problem persisted, I should contact IT.
OH REALLY.
Timelies all!
Am at the annual folk music retreat. Gary's in our room with Mr. S, while I sit in on the open circle.
Loki basically has a big chin zit.
Loki, you are not representing the shared tabby cat with dignity. This is rivaling the time Mycroft got so spun up about the sister-monster that he gave himself simultaneous asthma and hiccups.
Theee Tvs?! Why on earth would you need three tvs in one RV? Madness.
I have been working a whole bunch and frantically and badly multitasking. But this afternoon I got a haircut, and some blueberry balsamic goat cheese ice cream, which was delicious. And in an hour or so I will go dancing. And tomorrow I am supposed to run 10k. Except I haven't actually run at all since my half marathon in June! Oops. My friend I am driving with will have to stand around and wait for me for like half an hour.
Look at the cute socks I just bought.

Does he eat/drink out of plastic bowls? When Petri had that problem the vet said to try ceramic bowls. I made that switch and his face cleared up. I wish I could find such a simple solution for my own face.
Three TVs in an RV seems extreme. Even if it's about keeping a family entertained, don't kids mostly have their own devices now? At least in a family that could afford an RV?
