Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

Jesse, for a second I thought I was reading my office's internal chat system.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Haha!

Instead I made a doctor's appointment.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So I have free time at my desk today for basically the first time all week, so all I want to do is waste time online! Not do the actual work I've been putting off! Hmph.

Ditto, except it's so much worse because I'm working from home. I can put things off and NOBODY CAN SEE ME DOING IT.

So far today:

  • 8am call with Germany
  • Presented project status to sr leadership
  • soaked Drogon's wood chip bedding in hot water to increase the humidity levels in his cage. (Did I tell you guys we got a pet snake named Drogon? I know I posted on FB but I can't remember if I mentioned it here!)
  • started to eat lunch but then got distracted by internets

So far today I have not:

  • put on outside pants

That sounds like an excellent day!

I'm about to have a meeting, so I used up all my free time -- oh well.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I choose to believe Drogon has invisible wings.

I am at the Lyft area in Harvard Square as part of PARKing Day. 52 Bow St. Play a simple game and get ride credits!

Oh, that's fun! I saw them setting up on Mass Ave by Lesley this morning, I guess.

HA HA SAME. Except I have newbies who keep pinging me with questions.

So far today I have gotten a flu shot thanks to Dana's reminder, walked two miles, made a breakfast burrito, and then got immediately sucked into an escalation so now I have to go write and submit some code.

I just know my vet isn't going to call for me to pick up Loki until like 5, so I'm probably missing swim tonight.

Working at home with just Pumpkin is extended sessions of fighting over how I get to use my hands interspersed with her sleeping so hard it makes me sleepy.

The rain has held off so far. We got lucky with the weather.

Also one if the drivers does professional magic, so I saw some lovely sleight of hand. It is so fun t to see it now further than arm's length.
