Ditto, except it's so much worse because I'm working from home. I can put things off and NOBODY CAN SEE ME DOING IT.
HA HA SAME. Except I have newbies who keep pinging me with questions.
So far today I have gotten a flu shot thanks to Dana's reminder, walked two miles, made a breakfast burrito, and then got immediately sucked into an escalation so now I have to go write and submit some code.
I just know my vet isn't going to call for me to pick up Loki until like 5, so I'm probably missing swim tonight.
Working at home with just Pumpkin is extended sessions of fighting over how I get to use my hands interspersed with her sleeping so hard it makes me sleepy.
The rain has held off so far. We got lucky with the weather.
Also one if the drivers does professional magic, so I saw some lovely sleight of hand. It is so fun t to see it now further than arm's length.
Officially hit the no swim point of no return. And possibly miss UPS delivery too.
Today is September 15. I just saw a Christmas commercial on TV. I think I had a rage blackout.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Intercepted the UPS guy! Got me new Bluetooth portable speaker, yay podcasts and music without carting my device along to ever room. If the vet doesn't call by 6, hafta call them cause they close at 7...
Then I got pulled into a meeting with a PM, and I haven't eaten lunch yet.
I'm making tater tots and nobody can stop me. Well, theoretically PG&E can stop me...
Yay tots! Yay bluetooth thingies! Boo further encroachment of the Yuletide beast.
Today would normally be my work from home day, but an instructor for whom my team made a bunch of materials was presenting about them to a university interest group. It's an open group (with free lunch), so I went in to see what the instructor had to say. He was really positive about my team's work, which was nice to hear. And then there was a "meet a therapy dog" event at the university farmer's market, so I got to pet multiple puppies. All in all, it was a pretty good day.
