Today Mr. S started nursery school in a new place. So far, so good.
Did I tell y'all about my sister getting hit by what appeared to be a random drop of blood falling from the sky when she was walking the dog a couple of days before the eclipse? It turned out not to be blood, the theory is berry juice of some kind, but still very weird.

And our managing director just sent us all an email saying the hiring freeze we have been in that I didn't actually know about will continue, people will be offered early retirement packages, and we're all getting our 401k matching funds cut next year. So that's fun.
