All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Tommy, I'd recommend finding a place that won't involve making 435 a part of your daily commute if you can help it. There should be plenty of options in those areas for you.

The status is NOT quo.

Tommy, many congrats to you!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm sorry, Connie. That's horrible. You've really been through the ringer and back again over the last several years.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm very sorry, Suela.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I can't even. And I'm still in better shape than my sister, who expected to have to deal with this in 10 years, or maybe 20. But he was 66.

Dozens of people showed up at the house, with food and wine and flowers for days. Which was lovely. I don't think my sister ate anything all day, and my nieces did only when forced to. I finally went home at 10 because dog, and will go back in the morning. One of my brothers came up from San Jose today, and the other 2 will probably come out this weekend.

We'll be okay in the near term, but in the long term my sister has basically never lived alone, and my nieces are in their 20s. Nobody expected this. He didn't get to see his daughters married, or get to be a grandfather. Which he would have been great at.

It's just so fucking unfair. THAT MAN in the White House lives into his 70s and contributes nothing positive to the world, and my BIL, a generous and sweet human being, who only wanted to play his saxophone and watch the As and swim in San Francisco Bay, gets taken from us early. What kind of justice is that?

Fuck.
