Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm glad there's Murderbiscuit there for you, Steph.

Yeah, I'm glad there's a Murderbiscuit.

Hosted wine night last night. We caught up on summer shenanigans and drank a lot of wine. Oof. Then marketed in the morning with same crew & swam at Druid. Then the annual pilgrimage to Wegmans to buy a shitton of roasted hatch green chile. Got home with an awful headache, probably from forgetting to eat. It's abating, slowly, hours later. 5 gallon bags of chile in my freezer....and I'm eating everything at Cocina Luchadoras tomorrow..

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm so sorry, Tep. That's a lot to handle.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Teppy & Tim}} I'm sorry. It is really so hard to say goodbye.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My condolences, Steph.

I had an eventful evening, while I was feeding alley cats a guy backed out of a parking space into the SUV of a shop owner next door, then took off while she was getting her insurance info. The cop who came to make the report clearly wasn't interested in filling out the paperwork since there were no injuries and not much obvious damage, but I took down the plate so the owner at least has the option of pressing charges if she wants.

Why do none of my utility websites work today? Verizon has bad code, you can't login to view or pay bills, and now BGE just keeps throwing errors. Unamused.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm very sorry, Steph. My condolences.

I'm sorry, Teppy. It's so hard to lose one.

Last night I was out late! My niece threw her BF a surprise party, and since he's a sous-chef, the party started at about midnight after he got out of work. So there I was, happily not the oldest person there, at a local bar with a bunch of 20-somethings and the BF's parents. It was fun, and there were awesome salted-caramel brownies.

I did manage to run the dog this morning, and then we went to class, where we had one really good run and 2 other only okay ones (user error!). I spent the rest of the day faffing about the house and doing yard work. But I did read The True Meaning of Smekday, which was very fun.
