I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Tumblr's going to go insane over it. I'm not looking forward to it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Twitter is reacting to the Joss news. So far, most of what I'm seeing is, "Yeah, not surprising," but there's going to be pushback, too.

Interesting how the scene he fought to include in Ultron was about a guy in an ideal marriage, whose wife and kids are totally OK with his cool job, all his cool coworkers, and his WORK WIFE, even though his job requires him to be away from home for extended periods of time.

I am feeling much better. I really do not get my body, I swear I used to be able to go a day without eating. Anyway, having slow and steady ice cold water now. still eating the magical offbrand Honey Nut Cheerios. Feeling much better with only occasional mild waves of yuck.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Wow. I just went and looked for the news and am very sad now.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

yeah, that's not cool.

I wish people I respected would stop being so damned human all the time. Sigh.

I went to the city Art & Soul festival, and sat at the booth of my ski club to try to recruit members, and yeah, that's a weird thing to do at a historically (mostly) black street fair. We did get some people to stop and talk about the lodge and how cool it is, and all that, but it felt a little out of place.

OTOH there was some great blues being played in earshot, and a ton of excellent people-watching to be had. And one of the local dairies was giving away free ice cream. Score!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Laura, that's all so wonderful to hear. It's heartwarming when a lifetime of love is reciprocated that way. And I'm glad your eulogy went well, too.

msbelle, I'm so sorry you got your blood sugar and metabolism all out of whack. It does sound like perhaps a touch of heatstroke, too. Bodies--so unreliable.

I'm afred to go look at Joss news. Someone on Tumblr just deconstructed Firefly for me, and now I'm all feet-of-clay, SO bereft of my favorite thing, just like a child with an irreparably broken toy. Ruined.

But then it always was, I just wasn't aware of it. Adulting is stinkin hard, man.
