Has anyone else started watching "Atypical" which seems to be about the adventures of an autism spectrum teen, his sister, and his parents (Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Rapaport) as he start spreading his wings. I like it, but I haven't seen anyone who is on the autism spectrum comment. If it is realistic, I think I should have been dating people on the autism spectrum, because his "small talk" about chinstrap penguins and frogs with sicky stuff on their feet is utterly charming and interesting to me.

Huh. I can't think of any reason for that. There's always Firefox, too. For whatever reason I still always end up using Firefox though Vivaldi is a close second.

You could always use Chromium which is basically Chrome with less Google. If your Chrome install is messed up in a way that reinstalling doesn't help, Chromium might avoid whatever is causing the issue.

Quiet Sunday here. Gary's mom looked after Mr. S while Gary and I went to lunch and to get groceries. Soon she and Gary will take Mr. S to the pool, while I try to finish moving books to the basement.

Not that I even consider myself a Christian anymore, but the church I attend just had the prepared sermon today and did not address Charlottesville at all except in the pastoral prayer. Unacceptable.

I spent yesterday being flown to & from Portland so I could film my Very Important Cameo (with dialogue) as a Disapproving Elder Goth in an indie movie. Everyone involved with the production is great, and the kids in the cast are so damn adorable.

There were stressful hijinks with getting home: because of how tight the filming schedule was, and because TSA Precheck isn't open on Saturday nights at the PDX airport, I got to my flight gate 5 minutes after the plane had pulled away. But apparently airline gate staff get concerned when a goth girl starts crying in front of them, and found another flight to Seattle that had been delayed (for almost an hour!), that hadn't started boarding and still had seats available.
