My adulting has consisted of hiring the teenage son of a friend to come extensively weed the yard. He came over at 7am today (because he's a weird morning child), and was still working at 10 when I was up. I gave him iced coffee, food, and money. Needless to say, I'll be hiring him again.

Adulting sucks. The local funeral and burial and so forth for my mother is on the 19th in Otter Lake, which would have been her birthday. Too much to figure out. Lots of people. Too much to arrange. If my family does any of this stuff for me I will haunt them.
