You guys, I went to my favorite taco place and they made a batch of posole, so I got some to go since I wanted a taco & some too and...so much posole! They gave me like a quart! It's very good, but I think I'm gonna have to freeze some.

I have done All The Things! Saw family, hosted friends, went to a concert, and have even washed one load of sheets in order to return the borrowed air mattress. Phew!

We went to a 50th anniversary party today for one of my mom's cousins, and ltc charmed everyone. She danced and hugged everyone and was just so delightful.

Unsurprisingly people brought too much carry-on luggage on to this regional plane.

We are home now. Pizza has arrived. After dinner, one of us(probably me) will go get groceries while the other bathes Mr. S and puts him to bed.

I am now in Detroit. I started reading a Zadie Smith book due back soon to the library. I have eaten a salad. I am going to stay off Twitter even before I get on the plane. Look at this adulting.

Went out for breakfast and had the Official Birthday Brunch Food, Eggs Benedict. Spent most of the rest of today loading up my new iPad and slounging. The DH gave me the aforementioned iPad, as well as replacing my Flash t-shirt, which I wore out from wearing every single weekend. Tonight it's dinner at home plus ice cream and GoT. All in all, a perfect birthday.
