BTW, I learned that on Sam Sanders's new podcast, which if you don't listen to any other podcasts, you should listen to the last few minutes of the Friday episodes, because listeners call in to share the best thing that happened to them that week, and it has made me cry every time.

he is smol, and was very shaky, but now is calm.
He is either sleeping or very close to it, right by me in my chair. Puppers are so tired being in the shelter, they crash once they settle down at a foster place.

I'm sorta, kinda, soon-but not quite yet, in the market for a doggo. I think I want a puppy that will grow to a medium-small to medium sized dog. I just...I love collies and aussies, but I don't have a good running yard for them and they need to get tired out daily. There are tons of pits that need homes, but my HOA, city, and county all make ownership of a pit illegal. Neighbors have tried adopting one calling it a mix and they still got called out by someone and they had to give it back.
I'm traveling a bit in August, so to be fair I'd want to wait until I'm back to I can give the little monster my full attention.
