I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

Our wings are not tired.

The issue was Trump actually believing at some point that it wasn't complicated! It is extraordinarily complicated with a lot of greedy players at all levels.

BTW, my chore board is ready for the weekend. The kids will get to make their choices tonight :)

That is adorable, Gud. I hope it works well. If yours are anything like mine they will make every effort to do such a horrible job that you want to give up and just do it yourself. Or as I would tell #1 son often, "learned incompetence will not excuse you from your chores, only result in you having to do it again." It is way easier to do it all yourself, or it was for me at least, but it isn't the best in the long run.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The amount of chores on that chart to be done, and the prospect that you have to do what your kids don't do, actually made me start panicking for a minute, and it's not even my house.

...you may have guessed that my housekeeping skills fall in the category of "barely adequate" on a good day.

That doesn't show making dinners, paying bills, and that I still mow half the yard even if the one of the kids does pick that one. :)

That said, there are always some chores that end up falling off because I run out of time.

Jesus. That's overwhelming.

Though I think maybe my anxiety is ramped up pretty high today, because other people's chores shouldn't freak me out.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Now that healthcare drama is temporarily off the table, I think a lot of us suddenly have a lot of brainpower back that we'd devoted to worrying. My brain is searching around for major projects to tackle.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Aside from higher prices, this has led to providers pulling out of the exchanges leaving some with only one or even no providers. That is what the failing part is all about.

Worth noting that the ACA originally included a public option run by the Feds that would have corrected for this so that (especially rural) areas weren't completely at the mercy of the decisions of insurance companies. It was stripped out to appease Republicans.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What a very educational day in Natter!
