Will he wake up as Jefferson?
Ha!
BTW, I was on Rochambeau Street the other day.
Finally, apparently my neighbors believe 8 is the appropriate time to be noisy on a Sunday morning, as that is when they sent the kids out of the house. (Two neighbor kids + at least one cousin.)
Just spent a pleasant couple of minutes trying to identify the birds in the bougainvillea outside my kitchen window. Turns out they're just ordinary song sparrows.
And now I must walk the dog before it gets too warm.
Question: the kids from Burundi who went missing after the FIRST Robotics thing -- they aren't actually missing in a bad way, right? They just aren't going back to Burundi? That's my assumption, but then I just saw a post like "WE HAVE TO FIND THEM!!"
Yeah, Jesse, it sounds like they planned to not go back (their clothes are also gone). A couple were spotted trying to get into Canada, I think?
Yeah apparently at least 2 of them made it to Canada, I don't know what happened to the others.
Speaking of politics, here is a thing that is hella funny. Although it's kind of unexpected to see Ron Perlman on MSNBC:

Timelies all!
We've had a fair bit of rain this weekend. Still hasn't cooled things down much. Ah, well, summer in DC.
I don't know what particular allergy is bothering me, but my sinuses feel like they just want to explode.
In IL we may have corrupt politicians but at least they get sent to jail (Some of thrm)
In adulting news, I just went through my 81-page lease so I could e-sign everything. I also bought too much at the farmer's market this morning, but in my defense my crisper drawers were pretty bare from traveling.
I've never had central air before and was sure I'd cope with ceiling fans and portable fans, because summer's supposed to be miserable.
Central air is a gift and I'm glad that you're using it. I admit that I mostly don't need AC in San Francisco, but on days when my apartment gets into the 90s, I do pine for it.
Ugh, I went outside again. What a stupid decision. I need to not do that again until sometime in October.
