There's no evidence Trump would think this was a political liability. He knows people who have gone to jail for fraud or money-laundering; but I doubt anyone in his circle has ever been prosecuted for sex with an under-aged girl.
And given the response to his admission of sexual assault, I don't think proof of rape would be enough to be a real political injury.
