I am dissatisfied with my life for absolutely no reason and wish to run away with the circus. Or a Buffista castle compound.

Don't judge my pre-noon lunch, but I am SUPER satisfied with this salad I've been eating this week. Roasted root vegetables (with a tiny bit of maple syrup), kale, goat cheese, pepitas, and balsamic vinaigrette.
For what that's worth.
A buffista circus would be something!
I have this weird thing that drives me crazy and I would like to figure out how to stop it. When I have a definite plan later in the day, it is like I am powerless to do anything other than wait for that plan. So basically, doing something at 6 means my whole day is wasted thinking about that thing. I think it has to do with getting rides from other people who don't always have solid time frames, but this was true even when I worked rotating shift work and had a late start.
that salad sounds amazing, Jesse!!
He can't suffer enough on this planet to satisfy me.
Yeah, that's how I feel as well.
What are pepitas?
They're pumpkin seeds

I hear you.

(The greens are from my garden, so I feel morally obliged to eat them.)
It's Pride parade here, but I am giving it a pass due to my wonky back and knee, and because the PM is walking in it, so it's going to be, like him, so very extra. A friend has to do social media for work, so I've given her the mission of befriending the PMs SM person and getting the dirt.
This morning I have fed and watered the cats, changed their litterboxes, gone to the farmer's market, cleaned my bathroom floor, scrubbed the toilet and bathroom lavatory, scrubbed the rangetop, scrubbed the kitchen countertop, swept in the entry hall, kitchen, and living room/office area, thrown away loose newspapers, straightened up my coffee table, washed the covers of a couple pots and pans, and cleaned my desk. I think that's enough productivity for one day, particularly since most of it's driven by a showing of the building to a prospective buyer who might jack my rent up upon buying.
Timelies all!
Now I feel like such a slacker. Haven't done much aside from meals today. Gary just left to take care of some errands, and Mr. S has been put in his crib for a nap. (he's howling right now. Let's see if/when he actually goes to sleep.)
