Well they are closed now- so I guess it will be tomorrow. Thanks TOddson, that makes me feel better. It also just happened to by boss. I tend to be a very anxious hypochondriac, so it is hard not to imagine every different scenario

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I totally read that as "sex you up" until Jesse answered. I had to scrooll back to the original post and check.
Ha! It would be hilarious and horrifying if the family friend were trying to sex me up himself -- not only is he married, it is to a man. And I have no information that makes me think he is poly OR bi!
Truly a nonsensical misinterpretation of the text!
Sophia, these things are usually nothing - for mine, because it was right up against the chest wall, I had to have a surgical biopsy - and turned out to be nothing. Same thing happened to my sister - surgical biopsy which turned up nothing. So, the odds are (ever) in your favor.
Meanwhile, were people aware of this? they have art prints for various Buffista0-y things, including zombie wedding pairs (bride/groom, bride/bride and groom/groom). Also thank-you cards with, shall we say, less than pleasant flowers (according to their book of the language of flowers), for those gifts that may keep on giving (even though you wish they wouldn't).
Timelies all!
When I got in my car this afternoon, the temperature read 109. (Mind you, the car had been in the sun all day.) It started to cool down as I drove around and out of the garage, but was still in the 90s. Yep, it's hucking fot here, and will continue to be for the rest of the week.
It's always hard to wait for test results. Keeping all fingers crossed, Sophia.
It's awful here, too, Sheryl. I don't care what anyone says, the humidity is the WORST.
Also, managing college kids is close to the worst sometimes. I mean, they're all sweet, but they're just ... clueless. It's July 20 tomorrow, and one of them just told me TODAY that he'll be away the first week of August. And he *goes back to school on August 12*.
Reading comprehension close to nil tonight.
~ma for Sophia and all parents - of two-legged types and otherwise.
Well, I'm happy to learn that apparently I don't need a root canal. I woke up with pain in my jaw, just about where my first root canal was, and it didn't go away, so I got in to see the dentist this afternoon. After an x-ray and exam, she said it didn't look like there was anything wrong, and I might just have some inflamation in the tissue there. YAY.
Just wanted to mention that we bought a house today. Yahoo! Canton, MI, here we come (in a month).
Much overdue thanks for the birthday wishes - last week was overwhelming. I was in New York to see DH off for a week, a new book went on submission (many thanks for the ongoing ~ma - it is very welcome [also dear editors please read and like things faster kthxbai]), puppy madness on my own for 3 days, then an event in Philly, then flew to Boston (where I saw Connie!) and 4 straight hours of programming, then an unfortunate creeper thing, then another event, then I flew home. What day is it?
I love being on panels with Naomi Novik. That is all.
super excited about The Weight of Water - del Toro's new creature from the black lagoon movie - cannot find the trailer link but it looks amazing.
ETA - happy house, Scrappy!
