I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Was he trying to set you up, Jesse?

I totally read that as "sex you up" until Jesse answered. I had to scrooll back to the original post and check.

Sorry you have to wait longer, Sophia! Continuing~ma.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

~ma, Sophia. Waiting is stupidly hard.

Dana, I saw that SYTDD:Atl episode. If Monte and Lori's eyes had rolled any harder they'd have carpet lint on them. I wouldn't work in a place like that any longer than the first time I slapped a mother up the back of her head.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Well they are closed now- so I guess it will be tomorrow. Thanks TOddson, that makes me feel better. It also just happened to by boss. I tend to be a very anxious hypochondriac, so it is hard not to imagine every different scenario

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I totally read that as "sex you up" until Jesse answered. I had to scrooll back to the original post and check.

Ha! It would be hilarious and horrifying if the family friend were trying to sex me up himself -- not only is he married, it is to a man. And I have no information that makes me think he is poly OR bi!

Truly a nonsensical misinterpretation of the text!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Sophia, these things are usually nothing - for mine, because it was right up against the chest wall, I had to have a surgical biopsy - and turned out to be nothing. Same thing happened to my sister - surgical biopsy which turned up nothing. So, the odds are (ever) in your favor.

Meanwhile, were people aware of this? they have art prints for various Buffista0-y things, including zombie wedding pairs (bride/groom, bride/bride and groom/groom). Also thank-you cards with, shall we say, less than pleasant flowers (according to their book of the language of flowers), for those gifts that may keep on giving (even though you wish they wouldn't).

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

When I got in my car this afternoon, the temperature read 109. (Mind you, the car had been in the sun all day.) It started to cool down as I drove around and out of the garage, but was still in the 90s. Yep, it's hucking fot here, and will continue to be for the rest of the week.

Because books.

It's always hard to wait for test results. Keeping all fingers crossed, Sophia.

It's awful here, too, Sheryl. I don't care what anyone says, the humidity is the WORST.

Also, managing college kids is close to the worst sometimes. I mean, they're all sweet, but they're just ... clueless. It's July 20 tomorrow, and one of them just told me TODAY that he'll be away the first week of August. And he *goes back to school on August 12*.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Reading comprehension close to nil tonight.

~ma for Sophia and all parents - of two-legged types and otherwise.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Well, I'm happy to learn that apparently I don't need a root canal. I woke up with pain in my jaw, just about where my first root canal was, and it didn't go away, so I got in to see the dentist this afternoon. After an x-ray and exam, she said it didn't look like there was anything wrong, and I might just have some inflamation in the tissue there. YAY.
