Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Huh. Where do I get this magic conditioner?

I'm sorry for the crappy day, Kat. Cancelling G's surgery after it was scheduled to start seems pretty fucked up.

I'm 257 days late for my period. I don't know why I'm still tracking it, but a past gyno told me the magic number was one year so I guess I am waiting for that.

Way to go kids of Gud! Impressive!

information libertarian

I walked by the reference desk and my coworker is talking to a nun in full robes and wimple and stuff, but when I walked by the nun was saying, "...Pauly Shore, from the '90s..." !!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I sort of lost track, so the last time I saw the doctor I got the FSH blood test, and yeah, I'm definitely in menopause. In better news, the hot flashes have eased up over the last few months, which I am super grateful for, given that it's summertime.

Took the dog for a slow warm run in the redwoods, and now I'm on hold with Bank of America. I've been trying for months to find a way to get into a safe deposit box Dad left in Florida when they moved in 2009. Every person at BA I talk to gives me a different story, and I'm just majorly pissed off. I don't even know if there's anything in the box! Probably there isn't, but what if there is? Argh. It looks like I have to petition the court, but again BA hasn't given me the same answer twice w/rt what papers I need to file.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I desperately want to know the backstory!!

Unfortunately, only through their own site, or Urban Outfitters. Is your profile addy good? They have a "give $10/get $10" thing I can send you.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I wonder if it was something like, "I know all of the stories about Satan, but my personal hell would involve being stuck with Pauly Shore, from the '90s."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Woo hoo to Gud's kids!

That is amazing.

For anyone interested in tennis, this Murray/Fognini match is nuts.

Day 2 of a migraine steroid pack. Sometimes I don't really notice much in the way of side effects. This time, that's not working out. It messed with my sleep last night, and I've spent today with hot flashes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I'm working on something related to a donor who has died, and it's all normal stuff, but then someone just said to me, "You know everyone thinks his wife did it!" so I googled him, and I totally remember the Law & Order based on his death!!!! I can't give the rest of the details, I guess, but dag.
