My next vac might be a dyson ( not disown, thanks autocorrect) but the eureka bagless pet is holding up well. I empty it after I do my big clean every 2 weeks. It's disgusting, but satisfying. I like seeing results. I have a little Hoover linx rechargeable beater stick that is surprisingly good at carpets for keeping the fur at bay this time of year ( like when Pumpkin engages in an extended writhing session on the carpet right.after. I.finished .vacuuming with the big one and had taken it upstairs.)

Powerwashing, vacuuming. Clearly I like immediate visible results.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I want a Dyson, but am probably too cheap for one!

hwæt

My concern is, Dysons are better at sucking, but do they actually make things cleaner?

I used carpet powders and baking soda in carpet a lot when I had the cats. I burned out the motor in a Dyson. Vacuum repair guy said never to use bagless is you use powders and such, so I am back with a much cheaper bagged kind and it has been 4 years. Mac forgets to empty the bag and will never clean the pet hair and my hair that get wrapped around the brushes, but it has not stopped working yet.

msbelle, what about the Dyson couldn't handle the powders? How was the movie?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I hope you find your days in bed restorative, msbelle. Sorry the movie didn't work for you.

I have an old Hoover upright that keeps on working. Given that my cat sheds his bodyweight in fur weekly, I'm pretty impressed.

I hope you can get some dental help today, sarameg.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm in the office, and have to make myself do work. I have stuff to do! But could easily just dick around all day.

OK, I'm going to get reviews done RIGHT NOW.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm in the office, and have to make myself do work. I have stuff to do! But could easily just dick around all day.

I'm working from home, and just about everyone else I work with is taking PTO today. The urge to dick around is strong, but these reports aren't going to update themselves.
