The Librarians is fun and fluffy, with John Larroquette and Christian Kane. Elementary is significantly less fluffy, but Lucy Liu and Johnny Lee Miller both do some great work in it. I'd watch an episode of Elementary and then one of The Librarians as a palate cleanser.

There really isn't any reason why I couldn't do them simultaneously. My mind just automatically thinks binge with series catch up.
So, we paused for 30 seconds on the way home from the airport today, trying to figure out where the Google Maps directions were sending us (we were on a weird route avoiding a big traffic jam) and that 30 second pause saved us from a nasty-looking car accident that happened 30 seconds later 100 feet in front of us. One car hit another hard without braking, one of the cars spun around, airbags went off, and the driver of one of the cars seemed to be unconscious (the passenger got her out of the car and lying in the street.) We figured we were more help not looky-looing once emergency people were on the way (I called 911 but other people did too). I checked news sites and there's nothing, so I hope everyone was ok.
Laura, I can't offer an opinion on Elementary, but The Librarians would not be a wrong choice.
Zen, in college I dislocated a kneecap and spent five weeks encased in plaster from the ankle up. The school doctor referred to it as "beached whale syndrome."
Holy crap, flea, that sounds scary.
I really would like ice cream. But enough to put outside clothes back on? Unclear.
My company just distributed ice cream. I don't know if it was leftovers from some event in a conference room or what, but it was good.
Timelies all!
That reminds me, Steph, that I need to set up my blood work and physical. I've been putting it off, partly because I haven't been the best at watching what I eat and am afraid of my triglyceride levels, and partly because I know I've put on more weight. Sigh...
I would really like some wine, but I am not sure if I am up to putting on outside clothes.
At my last Dr's appointment, my triglycerides were high (not 4 digits) and my blood sugar was appalling enough to get an immediate diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. My health seems to be going to shit at the same time my job is making a lot of changes that scare me. I return to the Dr's tomorrow, and I love that I can see my lab results before seeing them, because both my blood sugar and triglycerides are in normal range, so hopefully I will get a cookie (but not a real cookie, because I now eat less than 30g carbs per day. Luckily I drink red wine, which is only 3 grams of carb per glass)
Yikes, flea! Glad it wasn't y'all. Which is not entirely morally correct, I guess, but I am not always entirely morally correct.
Hooray closing!
No wrong choices there for my money, Laura.
