Timelies all!
That reminds me, Steph, that I need to set up my blood work and physical. I've been putting it off, partly because I haven't been the best at watching what I eat and am afraid of my triglyceride levels, and partly because I know I've put on more weight. Sigh...
I would really like some wine, but I am not sure if I am up to putting on outside clothes.
At my last Dr's appointment, my triglycerides were high (not 4 digits) and my blood sugar was appalling enough to get an immediate diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. My health seems to be going to shit at the same time my job is making a lot of changes that scare me. I return to the Dr's tomorrow, and I love that I can see my lab results before seeing them, because both my blood sugar and triglycerides are in normal range, so hopefully I will get a cookie (but not a real cookie, because I now eat less than 30g carbs per day. Luckily I drink red wine, which is only 3 grams of carb per glass)
Yikes, flea! Glad it wasn't y'all. Which is not entirely morally correct, I guess, but I am not always entirely morally correct.
Hooray closing!
No wrong choices there for my money, Laura.
I want wine, but also not willing to drive somewhere to get some.
Laura, I can't offer an opinion on Elementary, but The Librarians would not be a wrong choice.
The alternating method may work. I watched the first Elementary and do want more, but I do believe I will watch the first Librarians and see if going back and forth is the best plan.
I left town before my doc could lasso me and get blood. I bought a bunch of healthy food to stock up for summer with the notion that if I have lots of good options the numbers will be better.
Yikes indeed, flea! Somehow I missed that post. Pulse raising for sure.

Seasons are much shorter for Librarians
t pout
I vote for watching both Elementary and Librarians.
flea, I'm glad you are safe. I hope everyone involved in the accident is on the mend quickly.
Zen, good luck getting the cast off.
I'm glad you weren't hurt, flea.
I had ice cream left over from a batch I made for Twin Peaks viewing on Monday. Originally it was going to go with blueberry cobbler, but I had total crust failure. So I scraped it off and served vanilla Ice cream with blue berry compote. It worked out ok.
That sounds amazing, though.
Yeah, ice cream and blueberry compote sounds as awesome as ice cream and blueberry cobbler. It sounds delicious. I want some even though I've had ice cream today.
