I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

He doesn't like reminders that women are human?

We have a mobile notary coming over at 4 to sign the closing papers for the house sale, so I have been cleaning. Things have been washed, rinsed, dusted, mopped, etc.

The buyers sign tomorrow afternoon, at which point we will sigh in great relief.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for closing!

I am alternating between rage and avoidance when it relates to the disturbing and disgusting occupant of the White House.

And speaking of avoidance! There are many series that I have not yet partaken in while waiting for summer and more available hours. I purposely did not get cable this summer so I would watch more stuff I have on my computer wanting my attention.

Vote time! Season One of The Librarians or Elementary?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Elementary gets SO GOOD about 4 or 5 episodes in to season 1, and does A Thing at the end of the season that is freaking fantastic.

So that's my vote.

Season One of The Librarians or Elementary?

Do you want more fantasy or drama? Librarians is also funnier than Elementary, well, more light-hearted.

Also, do you like quirky murder mysteries, Death in Paradise is fun.

I didn't watch Librarians, but even so, I can guarantee this is true.

Our wings are not tired.

Those are the first 2 series I copied over from my old PC to the one I brought with me. I'll probably be able to devour an episode or two a day so more will happen. Also upping my reading! Yesterday we had a power outage for 5 hours so I lit some candles and settled in with my Nook.

The Librarians is fun and fluffy, with John Larroquette and Christian Kane. Elementary is significantly less fluffy, but Lucy Liu and Johnny Lee Miller both do some great work in it. I'd watch an episode of Elementary and then one of The Librarians as a palate cleanser.

There really isn't any reason why I couldn't do them simultaneously. My mind just automatically thinks binge with series catch up.

information libertarian

So, we paused for 30 seconds on the way home from the airport today, trying to figure out where the Google Maps directions were sending us (we were on a weird route avoiding a big traffic jam) and that 30 second pause saved us from a nasty-looking car accident that happened 30 seconds later 100 feet in front of us. One car hit another hard without braking, one of the cars spun around, airbags went off, and the driver of one of the cars seemed to be unconscious (the passenger got her out of the car and lying in the street.) We figured we were more help not looky-looing once emergency people were on the way (I called 911 but other people did too). I checked news sites and there's nothing, so I hope everyone was ok.
