My bags are packed. I'm ready to go. DH is cooking my breakfast, then I am on the road to NC with my dog and sister. Whee! Later.

Happy travels, Laura!
Cupcakes sound lovely. I'm planning to make blueberry cobbler this weekend, so I probably shouldn't have cupcakes as well, but my they sound nice.
Today I'm planning on putting up some new window shades that I'm hoping the cat won't destroy. My blinds look like a small tornado went through them (which isn't too far from the mark *gives cat a look*), and I'm tired of replacing them.
Good luck with the new blinds, Calli.
Suzi, that is a sound plan.
Safe travels, Laura!
Harvey, stop standing on my chest while I'm searching Amazon for swim goggles.
YOU GUYS!!! Now, I'm not saying I suspect backchannel (that's a lie; I do), but the fact that all 6 Buffista cards that showed up today (plus Aurelia's yesterday) had the same transposed numbers makes me a leeeeeetle suspicious...
THANKS, Andi and Daniel, dcp, Calli, Kat, smonster, and amyth. You guys are AWESOME!
And I'm impressed with the postal service for delivering them!
USPS saves the day!
Aw, way to go, Post Office!
Yay post office!
Woo hoo post office!
One of the effects of being mostly broke is that I am learning to bake bread. I am using a mostly no-knead recipe and last night made my best ever batch. (The batch before that was my previous best batch - so progress: it is happening.)
This is the recipe I am using - the author now has a book out based on this recipe and somewhere on her blog also has a gluten-free version.
Jesus Christ, somehow between the two of them, Calibre and my Kindle managed to delete all of my collection information. Guess I know what I'm doing for the next hour.
