I remember a June heat wave (like we're having now) in the 80s when the Celtics and Bruins were both in the playoffs, both playing in Boston Garden on the same day or near enough, and the ice was melting under the parquet! What a mess.

I've had enough of today and it is not even half over.
I have failed at sleep the last two days because of sportsball. First it was the Stanley Cup playoffs, and then I watched the Men's Final of the French Open because last night was my last free trial day of YouTube TV and somehow the internet hadn't spoiled me for who won.
Timelies all!
Decided not to go to work today because of being sick. Got a doctor's appointment this morning. It's just a bad cold. They suggested some different over-the-counter meds to work on the symptoms. Took a nap, but also ran the dishwasher, washed a load of jeans and finally finished one of the Netflix disks I've had out since last June. In a little bit I go to pick up Mr. S from daycare.
Funny how "out sick" turns to "catch up on stuff at home." I hope you feel better soon, Sheryl.
Hey, we sold our house....again. We are in escrow and they are paying the same price as before. Yay! let's hope the rest of the process goes smoothly! By the way, the couple buying it are an actor and a writer. He was in 12 Monkeys: [link] She is working on a videogame. They have two kids.
Kristen writes for 12 Monkeys!
Todd! Oh, I love him--he's been in so much stuff, and he's always good.
I forgot the important part: congratulations on the house sale! May all run smoothly this time.
They wrote a great letter and seem like they like the house for what it is, rather than being bummed that it's old and has quirks.
Nice, Scrappy! I have a good feeling about this one.
