I am going to a new school. I have to start there on Wednesday. And I have a training tomorrow.

I feel like I'm walking away from a car fire.
Well. I'd say you were getting out of the house before the old school says something like, "You know I can't give you the keys, babe."
Fireworks tonight, because the Warriors won the NBA title! Woot!
(That's sportsball talk for some of y'all.)
Happily, the dog was not too distracted by the fireworks.
And now I need to go crash.
I did not know the NBA was still having games in June. That seems late.
I made an important update to Phoenix Board 2.0. There's a bit more to the admin portal and added the stuff to track a user's current position in threads. Next up will be thread subscriptions and profile settings.
I remember a June heat wave (like we're having now) in the 80s when the Celtics and Bruins were both in the playoffs, both playing in Boston Garden on the same day or near enough, and the ice was melting under the parquet! What a mess.
I've had enough of today and it is not even half over.
I have failed at sleep the last two days because of sportsball. First it was the Stanley Cup playoffs, and then I watched the Men's Final of the French Open because last night was my last free trial day of YouTube TV and somehow the internet hadn't spoiled me for who won.
Timelies all!
Decided not to go to work today because of being sick. Got a doctor's appointment this morning. It's just a bad cold. They suggested some different over-the-counter meds to work on the symptoms. Took a nap, but also ran the dishwasher, washed a load of jeans and finally finished one of the Netflix disks I've had out since last June. In a little bit I go to pick up Mr. S from daycare.
Funny how "out sick" turns to "catch up on stuff at home." I hope you feel better soon, Sheryl.
