Bodies are strange. My dad had major dental work without wanting or taking pain meds, but when he stubbed a toe or twisted an ankle, he really felt the pain.
I sometimes have pain with menstrual cramps that is so bad I throw up, and advil doesn't help much, but I had two babies without pain meds at all, including after an episiotomy. Bodies is weird.

What I have done in the last four hours: went to the car dealership to pick up and attach my license plates, got a hair cut, went shoe shopping, bought groceries, navigated the traffic around the city's summertime festival to get home. It's me in front of a fan for the rest of the day.
So I haven't been clicking through links, but I have been following along, so I'm not sure if anyone's shared the "Why I swear" pie chart yet? (Spoiler: It's 100% "because fuck you.")
I am home from Europe! It was a good trip, but I was super ready for it to be done. So that's perfect. Am especially glad I cleaned the house before I left, and am laughing at the extra blanket I left on the bed, because it finally got warm here. Like, yesterday.
Crap, I want to go to sleep so badly. I can hold out until 9, right?

I ran my half marathon! Well, walked most of it. Because for some reason even though my IT band gave me no trouble in training, at mile 4 both sides decided to start hurting. So I was in pain a lot. Boo!! But it's done.
