rain this morning, heavy rain, so no garage sale today. Of course mom and aunt would not go with what I was proposing which was shift things a bit and set up less inside the garage, so tons got wet (nothing was ruined) and we had to move tons back in while it was raining, so wet and lots of extra work.
anyway - I am actually getting many things of MINE out to sell tomorrow that just had not gotten organized yet since we had SO MUCH from hoarder friend. This includes furniture which if sold will make me VERY happy and reclaim a good chunk of space.
I also had to search for the receipt for my currently non-functioning garage door opener and thus went through 2.5 piles of papers. This resulted in a large stack of said papers getting thrown out and a still growing stack to be shredded. The rest SHOULD get filed, but thus far only a few of them have made it that far.
Maybe a reality show where investigators determine if a document adheres to the appropriate style manual.
The Season One story arc is a battle over Oxford commas. But things heat up in Season Two, when a killer is enforcing one space after a period by removing the writers as well as the extra space.

I won't lie: I would watch the shit out of this.
Is Season Three about people who invent pointless jargon being found bludgeoned to death with a copy of the style guide?
I am usually pretty amazing at packing, but now is the time to admit that my dream of getting almost two weeks' worth of clothes and whatnot for both of us into one big suitcase is completely laughable.

I think it would garner a larger audience that most people would guess.

Interspersed with a hip new member of the squad who's trying to persuade people that CamelCase is cool and Fashion-ForWard.
And a recurring character from Britain who has sparky banter with the head of the team over extra Us in words.
He's a stoic AP-loving copy-editor with a checkered past and an ex-wife out for his blood. She's a lacrosse-playing lesbian author with a unshakable belief in the Chicago manual of style and a passion for the oxford comma. Together they... mostly argue a lot.
Gud, I see that as the set-up for a Tracy-Hepburn movie.
