I feel like I've been Lurker McLurkerson. If I've been posting, I don't remember. But y'all keep me sane when I feel like my head is about to spin off my shoulders.
June is going to be an extremely busy month and I'm try to plan time for me to re energize, but this week...I'm not seeing many opportunities beyond bipping over here to see how all the spicy brained people are doing.
I am taking some house-ma back, as our first buyers dropped out at the last minute.
OH MY GOD. My sympathies. Your realtors are right, it will all work out, even if it's stressful right now.
Sending back the house~ma! In my experience it never goes as smoothly as it should, but it will happen. Soon!
Scrappy, it was at this point that my buyer-broker reminded me several times that the sellers and buyers are HIGHLY motivated to come to an agreement. So, fingers crossed.
Someone in an office is talking to someone in the cubicles on the other side of me on his phone, on speaker phone with the volume up loud and his door open. Weird stereophonic effect.
Congratulations on the house sale, Dana!
I'm sorry about the house sale problems, Scrappy.
Okay, heard from our realtors. Our back-up (buyer #2) dropped out. Back-up #three found another place. Back-up #four is still interested, but their offer is 20k below the original sold price. realtors want us to do another Open House on Sunday, try to get get someone to pay more $$. I think this means we will probably lose the place we want in Mi, because the last two buyers ended up not being able to get a mortgage and the buyer is very leery (even though the Mortgage Broker HE picked informed him that our credit rating was "elite" and that we were excellent buyers.
Meanwhile, my spouse is in Spain and asleep, so nothing can be decided until midnight tonight when he wakes up.
Sorry for boring you all with real estate mishegoss.
Can you counter-offer to Buyer #4 to see if they'll go higher?
