My Bat Mitzvah Torah portion was all about assorted goats. (Something to do with separating out the speckled ones. Can't for the life of me remember why.)
This pleases me.
DH's Torah portion was about determining whether candles are kosher, so I got to hear all about that whenever it was candle lighting time.
sj. - would it be possible to have a potential sitters come for few hours while you are there for a few days to get to know them? That was how the nanny interviews were set up. Initial interview then anyone we liked come for an hour to interact.
For those familiar with Fiona the baby hippo (which I assume is everyone everywhere forvever), I saw a FB post earlier that said that Fiona is the Lil Sebastian of Cincinnati.
Nothing has ever been more true.
I've been making one of the cardinal errors of anticipating how much money I'll have after taxes are resolved next year and contemplating what kind of vacation I can manage. I was thinking Key West so I can see the ocean, but the temperature and humidity are offputting for a desert person. I glanced around the California coast, then thought "What's it cost to go to London?"
Well, three nights in London in April 2018 are the same price as Key West. And that's for posh-looking hotels. Gosh.
That would be a swell adventure, Connie!
Fiona is Lil Sebastian, isn't she? Nice. Anything that makes our world a little more Parks & Rec like has got to be good.

She's apparently on cups at Skyline, so now I need to go to Skyline. (Which is NOT our Paunch Burger.)
I love the drink sizes of Paunch Burger.
In other news, who's been posting to Not Always Right?
Ha!
I just signed up for a self-defense class at a Krav studio. Meep.
