That would be a swell adventure, Connie!
Fiona is Lil Sebastian, isn't she? Nice. Anything that makes our world a little more Parks & Rec like has got to be good.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

She's apparently on cups at Skyline, so now I need to go to Skyline. (Which is NOT our Paunch Burger.)
I love the drink sizes of Paunch Burger.
In other news, who's been posting to Not Always Right?
Ha!
I just signed up for a self-defense class at a Krav studio. Meep.
Go aurelia!
Talking about our dream houses. Mine would have a big kitchen - double ovens in the wall, proving drawer. Baking prep area with a marble slab for working dough (o rmaybe even chocalate). The rest would be butcher block. Deep double sink, walk in pantry, an island.
And it would have doors of some kind so it can either be opened out to the living area (so I can watch tv or what not) or closed so I can have privacy and quiet.
I've learned I absolutely hate trying to cook or bake when the tv is going, people are moving about and talking. It's especially bad when Mom is flipping through Dr Phil (which I loathe) and divorce court or something.
Msbelle, I'll probably do that. Since what I is a mother's helper for the summer who comes a few hours a week whether I want to stay in and clean out my closet or go do errands. So, it would have to be someone comfortable with me being around or not.
In regard to the McMansion - those high-up windows next to the wall of windows reminded me of the house I grew up in - I hated that the windows were low enough that you had to have blinds so you weren't on view to the neighbors but too high up to look out of unless you were standing up. In my opinion, windows should either be low enough you can see out of them from a chair or high enough that they're like clerestory windows.
Timelies all!
When we wanted to go see "GOTG2", we found a babysitter through the local Nextdoor list. There were a couple on the list, but we went with the one who actually got back to us and said she was available. (We really need to plan well in advance)
Ooof. Entire run of show just cancelled. That's gonna complicate some things.
