Our wings are not tired.

How long until indictments drop? Seriously.

My first instinct is to answer, not soon enough, yet part of me wants them to stay completely dysfunctional for a while until midterms at least.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

How stupid do you have to be to set up something like that with the Russians? How do you think, 'Hey this is a good idea.'

I loved that bit in the WaPo article where they quoted a former intelligence officer saying, basically, "Did he think people wouldn't notice if he was just visiting the Russian Embassy all of the time?"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What the actual fuck? Seriously.

'suela, I hate when you gear up for something and then it doesn't happen. It feels like I've been stressing for no reason.

I am worried that this latest scandal drop will have zero effect. It feels like the GOP will do nothing. It feels hopeless.

Punishingly Intricate

That's how I'm feeling about it, Kat.

I feel old. I remember when the GOP had concerns when people colluded with Russia.

Our wings are not tired.

I remember when the GOP had concerns when people colluded with Russia.

It seems inconceivable that they aren't feeling the strain of hypocrisy. And yet.

So I got up before 7 AM and over the last 4-1/2 hours I have let the dog in and out several times, made myself breakfast, and read, read, and read some more. Total silence in my household. Bliss.

Thrive to spite them

My nephew has a crush on a girl (according to Mom). He's in 2nd grade and when asked why he liked her E said "She's really funny!" but then said that she's not his girlfriend because it would never work out (this is a paraphrase I forgot the exact wording).

When Mom asked why E said: "Her grandma has Trump/Pence bumper sticker!"

Nice, Laura!!

Our dance event is managing to continue just fine but only because they took all the cash reserves in the groups budget and spent it to pay last minute for the hotel ballroom and floors and sound systems that the Outgames suddenly wasn't paying for. Grrr. And something I ate yesterday violently disagreed with me last night so I didn't even dance much and instead spent most of the night feeing icky and in my hotel room. Today will be better. Thankfully there's three more days of dancing!
