Because books.

How come, Jesse?

Armstrong~ma made me laugh. Much of it to your brother, Consuela!

Kat, I'm glad you have a new position lined up. The current school sounds ... not good.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I need to get up and do a thing, but I just sat down from doing another thing. Too many things.

It wasn't really feasible, but in retrospect, I maybe should have taken a week or two off.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How come, Jesse?

It's Commencement, and I volunteered. I thought it would be a nice day to be outside! I also thought my second assignment might be inside and/or sitting down, but no.

Does napping count as working?

You'd think, right? At least I've reviewed the stuff to tell my boss so I can meet with her soon.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Commencement sounds fun if the weather is up for it. Which sounds like it isn't.

I'm going to sit here an stay in my lane. That's my mantra for the next 10 days.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Thanks, folks. My brother is a serious competitive bicyclist. So the Armstrong jokes will be appropriate.

He's already out of surgery, no sign of spreading. We'll get more results next week.

brillig

Being a grownup means you can make your own krab salad for lunch, to your own specifications, ie, imitation crab, relish, Miracle Whip (yes, I prefer it), and smoked gouda dip that has onions in it. I'm doing pretty well with this "Let's dump this all together and see if it works" thing. A couple of things have not been something I want to repeat, but nothing's been inedible.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Damn, Kat. I am glad you are almost done with that dumpster fire. Not your circus, not your monkeys.

Ugh, Jesse.

Good to hear that it hasn't spread, 'suela! Much ~ma to your brother.

Our wings are not tired.

That's my mantra for the next 10 days.

Hey, tomorrow single digits! I hope it helps to have the end in sight.

Much quick healing~ma for your brother, Consuela.

Yeah, I mean I still choked up a little a couple of times. They aren't even my kids!

I guess this was a Super Bowl commercial this year, but I'm only now seeing it. And surely everyone must see it.
