Ha. Someone just added me to Pantsuit Nation, and FB tells me my mother and brother are already members.

I also loved the old lever machines. We have scantron these days, which is fine, after a brief flirtation with touchscreens. I hated the touchscreens in Louisiana, everything about them.

I've gotten a couple of nice comments in the pantsuit, nothing not nice. In fact, the meeting I was just in for a little while was just me and another woman, and she said how she loved the pantsuit and then told me about the Facebook group and how uplifting it was, so that was fun.
Oh, man, I need to tell y'all: I wore flat to go vote because it was about a mile to walk and then all the usual walking between bus stops, but I brought heels with me because these pants are hemmed for heels. When I got to my cube and pulled out the heels I realized they are not a pair - one is black and one is navy and they are not even the same style. So, continuing to wear the flats.
Ooh, it looks like Animal Planet is doing a "Too Cute" marathon. This is the show where they focus on litters of puppies and kittens.
All of us in pantsuits at work just took a picture, which was like herding cats, but whatever.
Man, those old lever machines were great. So satisfying, with the kaTHUNK noise and the actual physical confirmation of voting!
Blah. ION, I have the first test drive (the Elantra) scheduled for tomorrow night and I'm already starting to stress about it. Hope the salesperson isn't too pushy. I did already inform her I'm looking at the Accord at a different dealership (to which she replied they have a Honda dealer next door they work with. Which has nothing to do with anything if they don't have a similar model with a similar mileage and price.) but I don't really want to deal with the inevitable "decide now" BS.
The new scanners actually make a thunka sound. I squeed and told the judge I like that sound!
My DH is sad that he never got to pull a lever. I liked those. I voted once in Davis, CA with an actual wood ballot box.
I am headachy from the anticipation. Mal was eating his shirt by noon. Driving past a house with a YUGE confederate flag and Trump sign didn't help.
The San Francisco Zoo has a live red panda cam on Facebook in case you need something cute.

Plus as somebody just reminded me, they automatically opened the curtain behind you when the vote was registered and the tumblers reset. A very dramatic flourish.
