Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad you're here, Karl.

Cookies in the voting line! I would buy so many Vote With Love cookies.

Yeah, I am more nervous about the senate and house races.

I am nervous about everything. Twice I thought, "America won't vote for Bush (again)" and I was wrong. I don't trust America to be sane anymore.

The non-standardized voting we do in the States is absolutely crazy.

100%. Here, we got scantrons a couple election cycles ago, and it's much preferable; filling out a paper ballot relieves that worry that the vote didn't get counted correctly, and as you say, provides that all-important paper trail.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We need the Senate so Hilary can actually get judges on the Supreme Court. Which we need to get things like gerrymandering prohibited.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I LOVED the old lever machines we had in NYC. Do not like the wheel electronic things we have in Texas.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

The lever machines in NYC are gone, gone, gone. We have SAT-test ballots now.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Ha. Someone just added me to Pantsuit Nation, and FB tells me my mother and brother are already members.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I also loved the old lever machines. We have scantron these days, which is fine, after a brief flirtation with touchscreens. I hated the touchscreens in Louisiana, everything about them.

{{{Maria}}}

I've gotten a couple of nice comments in the pantsuit, nothing not nice. In fact, the meeting I was just in for a little while was just me and another woman, and she said how she loved the pantsuit and then told me about the Facebook group and how uplifting it was, so that was fun.

Oh, man, I need to tell y'all: I wore flat to go vote because it was about a mile to walk and then all the usual walking between bus stops, but I brought heels with me because these pants are hemmed for heels. When I got to my cube and pulled out the heels I realized they are not a pair - one is black and one is navy and they are not even the same style. So, continuing to wear the flats.

Ooh, it looks like Animal Planet is doing a "Too Cute" marathon. This is the show where they focus on litters of puppies and kittens.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All of us in pantsuits at work just took a picture, which was like herding cats, but whatever.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Man, those old lever machines were great. So satisfying, with the kaTHUNK noise and the actual physical confirmation of voting!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Blah. ION, I have the first test drive (the Elantra) scheduled for tomorrow night and I'm already starting to stress about it. Hope the salesperson isn't too pushy. I did already inform her I'm looking at the Accord at a different dealership (to which she replied they have a Honda dealer next door they work with. Which has nothing to do with anything if they don't have a similar model with a similar mileage and price.) but I don't really want to deal with the inevitable "decide now" BS.
