After the walking there was also sitting up at a restaurant. Yesterday I went to a family birthday party, which had the side effect of impressing people. Surgery two days ago, she's still at the party.

I did leave the party early.

Now I'm home. I think, hopefully, I'll be off the narcotics by tomorrow, though the muscle relaxant is certainly powerful enough. I'd planned to work, but maybe not.

Ooh, the actual physical Sunday Times. . . how lovely.

I to church, stayed for the congregational meeting, went to Buddhist Reading group and agreed to take part in a friend's service in two weeks. Now need to write about 7 minutes on finding joy.

It must be Spring, the arachnids are out. Friday night I encountered and evicted a brown recluse. This morning I discovered a tick above my ankle. Ick.

So my apartment is a complete fucking disaster. Piles of dishes in the sink; clothes strewn all over the floor; dust everywhere.

So today I went out and shot two rolls of film. Now I'm sitting at a bar.

To be fair, it really was one of the nicest days of the year today.

Seriously, don't waste nice weather when you have the time to get out in it. The apartment can wait.

Jesse, I love my Danskos for their arch support. But, as with all shoes, it's how they fit the foot in question that's the main issue. I hope they work out for you.

Yeah, I wore them for a half-hour of errands, and they went well! So that's good.

I slept in, way in. everything hurts. I made some eggs and egg and sausage muffins for breakfast this week, then sat down with coffee and haven't moved since. I should do one or more of the following, but I am not sure it will happen:

ebay LLR things
go to grocery store
go to gym or do 10 minutes of exercise here
clean bathroom

Yesterday I went to the optometrist for contact lenses and glasses, and kinda sorta decided to order two pairs of glasses with my insurance because I couldn't decide between two frames. The woman helping me kept laughing at how cute one of the frames was when I tried them on, which could be a sales tactic but hey. I also signed up for a half marathon with Hogwarts Running Club and made an impulse purchase of Cool Ranch Doritos because you gotta even those things out, right?

I went to the farmer's market and got fruit, veg, and flowers this morning. Watched hockey, did laundry and dishes, went to the library.

Oh, and I passed my last mothertrucking final exam so I'm now done with my professional certification at Stanford. I'm going to watch SO MUCH TV now.
