I have often thought that I wished I was a Victorian Lady and could Take To My Bed, but in reality that was probably awful.
It seems delightful as one of many options for life, but awful as making the best of a bad situation.

I have laundry drying on the clothesline in the backyard for the first time since last year (because it's finally warm enough but not raining), and I am SO HAPPY. I also hard-boiled eggs to make egg salad with avocado for dinner for the first time since last year.

edit: When I lived in Pennsylvania, I laughed at the high elevation instructions on baking mixes. Who could possibly live that high up? Well, me and a couple of million others in this state, at least.
