Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Scrappy, you are literally living the dream -- I keep saying, sure my mother could sell this house for a zillion dollars, but we don't want to live anywhere cheaper! If only I wanted to move to Michigan...

Our wings are not tired.

Wow! That's more wading than running. That would be exhausting.

It was. Not for everyone though. The 3 of us were walking along about half way done when a couple guys passed us that were already wearing their medals, and dripping wet. We asked if they were doing it twice and they pointed ahead to 2 women each pushing strollers and said they were doing the 2nd time around to finish with their wives. A world of Awwwwww.

That is some productivity, aurelia! My chore list didn't even get a glance this weekend.

Yay bug screen, Connie! I hope you have the weather to enjoy it soon.

Way to be sure you are the first to get saved in a pool disaster, sarameg!

-t is making me tired with her chore list too!

So happy for Scrappy and J! You really did make the place so cute and deserve the reward. Good luck witht he Labradoodle. I can't walk Zoe with a choke chain or regular collar. I have to use a harness or she pulls my arm off.

And now after reading Gud's chore list I am completely exhausted!

So back to work with me. Happy Monday All!

Our wings are not tired.

Unfortunately that still left a number of tasks on the table.

The exercise is more important than the other tasks. Seriously, at this point I am paying the price for focusing on my work and house chores more than my health.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And just think -- you could be like me and focus on neither house chores NOR health!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would like that option today. In fact, if someone could go to work for me while spend the day napping and reading, that would be great.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

And just think -- you could be like me and focus on neither house chores NOR health!

Amen.

Looking at the housing market here and in Brooklyn, I think we moved just in time. The housing market down there is finally starting to cool off, but up here there's nothing similar to the house we bought for less than half a million.

Even though I no longer put any credence in studies on mice, this is pretty interesting: sleep or caffeine may be more helpful for chronic pain than painkillers! [link]

AKA my life philosophy!

Congrats on the sale, Scrappy!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

And I managed to get in exercise on both days. Unfortunately that still left a number of tasks on the table.

1) good for you, prioritizing exercise.
2) there will *always* be tasks on the table. Always. I was talking to a colleague lately about how any grown up who says they are "bored" has to be slacking somewhere. I have very mixed feelings about this.

I am still struggling to find the work/home/health/social balance, and am trying to come to terms with the fact that it is an eternal process. Why is everything a process? Why are there so few things in life that are one and done?
