The nurse called me back, hooray. She squeezed me in to see the doctor on Wednesday, so I don't have to wait until next Monday, which was the original plan. Given the option between trying another shot and going ahead with the surgery, I'm choosing to just get the damn surgery done. Get it out of the way so I can recover in enough time for my trip to Europe.
Scrappy, that's awesome. I would love whatever house karma you have leftover after dispensing some to Laura.
I'm sorry, tommy. It's good that you can go out there.
Oh, no, Matt. How awful.
And tommyrot. Yeah, you gotta go. Peace and hugs to all of you.
Glad you don't have to wait too long, Dana.
I think I will be in Oakland on Wed evening, btw, if you need someone to pick up a meal or something like that.
Timelies all!
I'm sorry, tommyrot.
Meanwhile, Mr. S has decided its "throw things down the stairs" time. Again.
Throwing things down the stairs does sound very appealing. I probably shouldn't try it at work. Can't see the Safety Committee approving of that.

Nothing has yet convinced me that toddlers aren't actually cats in clumsy biped disguise.
I've often been tempted to throw my garbage bags down the stairs, but then they'd probably burst and make a mess.
I have to say if I had stairs I would have enjoyed throwing stuff today too.
Sue, please tell Ouise how happy we are for her.
Dana, I am sorry. once surgery is scheduled let me know if I can be of any help bring meals on weekends or sitting with you to watch tv/movies.
SCRAPPY!! HOUSE SELLING!! AWESOME!! I hope you get a million $ over asking and are set up for a life of easy and relaxation.
Todd - youck on plumbing, that does not sound good.
tommy, sorry about your aunt.
....basically what msbelle said. Except I won't be much help to Dana.
In news about me, I just turned the heat on, and I resent it!
