I want pizza at 8:30 am. But that is meaningless. The pizza in the evening and invite off duty folk to come in plan sounds pretty good.
Good luck with the car, Connie!
I am home. I read my annual review. It's just like last year's, which is to say positive, but for some reason I'm finding that mildly dispiriting. IDK. Maybe after I meet with my boss and talk about it next week I'll feel better. I turned in the survey without any words describing culture if any sort, I just answered the few questions that I had answers for. Meh.
Have lit candles, including two yahrzeit candles for my late FiL whose yahrzeit I did not observe as properly as I would have liked to, and for omnis because it seems appropriate. Have a glass of wine to hand and sausages sizzling on the stove for dinner. I think I am done with the doing of things for today.
Heard at the store, two young women chatting back and forth.
Girl 1: We need to name our baby.
Girl 2: We're going to feed him to our children, don't name him.
I paused to contemplate the boxed cereals to listen for clarification. They were giggling too hard for clarity, but I heard something about a lizard, so perhaps the baby was a grasshopper. Or the lizard was the baby, and there are large snakes involved.
Connie - that sounds like the sort of conversation Drusilla might have.
Raise two, the rest are food?
Perhaps a role playing game was involved?
Man, I was up way later than usual, and then this morning I was having a dream where I was arguing with people, so I'm not really convinced I'm awake yet. Let alone functional.
I on the other hand was up before 7 AM, but really have not done anything at all productive. Oh computer of mine, you make me more productive and less productive.
Timelies all!
Went to my local comic book store to pick up my subscriptions, and to participate in Free Comic Book day. Tonight, Gary and I go to see Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.
That sounds like a good day! I want to go take part in Free Comic Day but that would require getting dressed, so we'll just have to see how that goes.
