I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My mid-life crisis is wallowing that I will never be in a relationship and being paralyzed about how to make myself happier here, while dreaming about being anywhere else.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I just realized that I have read the last forty or so posts without comprehension and/retention. I'm sorry. Brain fried. Much love to all, sorry I can't be more present.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My mid-life crisis has me considering a job in Portland.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Portland is the Paris of the PNW

Mine is mostly dreaming about tiny houses and a big piece of land and many friends who also would magically be able to quit their jobs and live in semi-wilderness in tiny houses.

Oh, that is a pleasant vision.

Heh. I wasn't really looking to go there, but a couple of people are really trying to get me to apply for this job.

Our wings are not tired.

Well apparently everyone across the nation with Webroot as their anti-virus program was hit yesterday. What a mess. I had 4 practices with issues, and not enough sleep. Really their IT was responsible for fixing it, but they have our back when we need them so DH and I have been working the issue too. [link]

Oy, sorry to hear that, Laura. I guess it is good to have the explanation.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

MRI went fine.

Excellent!

I like your style, Zen.

I like your style too, -t!

what I don't know is how to accomplish it realistically.

Oh, well, realistically...

I applied for a job that would be perfect for me today, in a more money, less stress way, even if it's not exactly what I want to be doing with myself five days a week. But I also talked to my agent today, and she's really excited about what I'm working on, so I'm now excited, too (and trying to ignore the oh-my-god-now-I-have-to-write-well fear that came along for the ride).

Yay for both those things, especially the second one! You do write well, so there!

My only problem with the CPAP is the urge to say "Are you my mummy?" when I put it on.

Totally using this!

I have the full face mask, does anyone use the nasal mask?

I use the nasal mask. I think it doesn't keep me from snoring. The full face mask gave me anxiety; I felt like I couldn't breathe. Now that I'm used to them, it might be better.

My mom used to tell people about how when I was five or six my stated ambition was to be a toll booth attendant, on the theory that you would get to pretty much sit there in the booth and read all day.

I wanted to work in one of those parking-lot photo kiosks, remember those? for the same reason. Then I did it and it was hot and my boss was horrible and wouldn't let me read.

Today I'm in pain because of the Red Invasion, drugged up for the pain, and therefore sleepy. Luckily I don't have much work to do today.
