Bah, sarameg. I hate when you're ready to do something good for you and it's foiled.

Me, I test drove a couple of cars today: the Kia Niro and the Prius wagon. I'm still leaning toward the Kia: I really liked the way it handled, and it's still fairly small, but it is taller than my Subaru and gets more than twice the mileage.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I slept in, made mac cry on his birthday by criticizing him and not making a big enough deal for his birthday, I guess.

so, basically homemaker and mother of the year here.

not really the motivation I was looking for to make this a productive day.

Aw, msbelle. You are great!

As you may remember, it is also my mother's birthday, and I made a really excellent roast chicken for dinner. She brought the bubbly. Sweet!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Supposably, the anesthetist for my MRI tomorrow is going to call me the night before the procedure. When I hadn't heard from them on Friday afternoon, I called, and they said, oh, he'll call you Sunday night.

Sooooo. 6:49PM my time. Want to lay odds on an actual call?

Are you specifically looking at Hybrids? The Mazda CX-3 and CX-5 and wonderful crossovers, but they do not make a hybrid.

I'm guessing no, Dana. But what would he say or tell you, the night before, anyway??

I spent all the money, this afternoon. Mostly at Sephora but also on a massage, and at the drugstore.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have no idea how to parse this.

Cheese, delicious.

(((Meara)))

(((Dana))). I hope the MRI is easier than you expect. Somehow.

Let the record show, 11 wineries with chef provided food at each in 5 hours is a fuckload. I mean, good times, but past!Me thinking I could do laundry and take the garbage out on Sunday night was SO WRONG

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Chuck Norris Grill

I will definitely be looking for that!

Hugs to everyone who had a bad day!

brillig

I just double checked my deposit slips from depositing my check, and the amounts are $10K short. I wasn't feeling well, so I didn't notice at the time. So now I get to call the bank tomorrow and figure out how to resolve this. I have the check stub, so I can prove the amount is more than they deposited. They have to have some sort of double check system themselves.
