Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Steph, you were in my dream last night. You were in a band like Postmodern Jukebox, and you were competing in something like American Idol. (You played piano and sang, if you're interested). Good news is you guys got to the final, but sadly you lost due to some kind of maneuver you tried, which was against the rules.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I can, by the way, play the piano. I cannot sing, though.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Way to push the envelope, dream!Tep, just like Torville and Dean losing points for having too much complicated footwork. I assume.

I've been joking all week that after the stomach bug two weeks ago and the bee sting last Saturday I'd spend today inside with curtains drawn being very very careful. It was meant to be a joke, but now it's exactly what I feel like doing.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The March for Science seems to have gotten a pretty impressive turnout in DC, and London too.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I can, by the way, play the piano. I cannot sing, though.

Probably why you had to resort to shenanigans.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Now I'm imagining Cyrano-style hijinks with dream!Tep wired for lip synching and the music device flipping from the song to a pop-up ad for some embarrassing product in the middle of the performance.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If I can remember correctly from the dream, I think you tried to team up with some other act. So less Machiavelli, more Glee.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Sitting in the concert room at FKO, wearing my "Science is my Superpower" sweatshirt. (I'm wearing a t-shirt that says " Mad scientists' union #3.14"underneath.)

Thrive to spite them

So Thursday night I dreamed the cats were chasing a mouse down the hall.

This morning there was a dead mouse in the living room. I feel like if I was going to have a sort of prophetic dream it should have been more interesting.
