I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats, sara!

The status is NOT quo.

Yay, Sara!

For the record, I had a hideous stress work dream last night also, so it must have been one of those nights.

Wonderful wine night, but with drama. Hostess's renter got mugged, so detectives and community assoc president joined us. And then the biggest dude insisted on walking those of us more than a couple blocks away home. We've definitely got a group of jerks preying on people lately; funnily enough, ran into a crew of dubious characters while walking home, called it in after they ghosted to big dude's "wassup?" and attempt to engage neighborly-like.

Hot tip:scatter when ppl are friendly in this hood? Not good. Even the people who don't trust bpd are gonna call.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Goddamnit, I just thought about the possibility that my hair extension clips might cause a problem with the MRI. And of course, no one is available today to answer a question.

If there is any metal, remove them! I have a friend who specializes in MRI room safety and design. Every horror story goes on FB. *shudder*

Is speaking baby like speaking whale?

Good luck with the MRI Dana. :(

Sara yay work award, boo muggings

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Every horror story goes on FB.

I love reading those kinds of stories! I'll follow her if she's not locked down.

Just booked a hotel room in Athens TN for the total solar eclipse in August. I've never seen one before! Checking off items on the ol' bucket list.

Tobias Gilk. (Seriously. His middle name is Xavier. He should be a comic book villian.) It looks like the professional posts are all public.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Big news! Turns out if you get enough sleep the night before, 7AM meetings are not so unbearable.

hip deep in pie

I don't think there's enough sleep to make 7AM meetings bearable for me. I am barely coherent in 9AM meetings.

I dreamt last night that there were $55 denomination bills. And i had a bunch of them in my wallet. The math around them was tedious.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I hate staff meetings. And I did not start liking them any better when I started having to schedule and run them myself.
