Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Saw Wonder Woman tonight, finally....and, meh. I am still processing, but as I said on FB, I did not love it.

I would however really love a Cap and WW movie.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I would put the entire Cornetto trilogy ahead of Scott Pilgrim and Baby Driver, but the use of music/sound in Baby Driver was impressive enough that I'd recommend the movie just for that. And the car chases are good. Plot/characters are flimsy excuses to build great car chases and a great soundtrack around.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Full disclosure: until you all started posting about Baby Driver, I assumed -- just based on the name -- that it was some corny Look Who's Talking-esque comedy about an infant that drives a car. No, really. (I obviously hadn't seen the trailer or even a poster.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Me too.

I mean, it's unfortunate but it sounds like that movie you described would exist.

I'm surprised that it doesn't.

brillig

There was a movie a couple of months ago called Boss Baby, so it's an easy mistake to make.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I loved Baby Driver--but it does have very flimsy characters. Still, it didn't bother me, as everything else was so visually and aurally fun.
