And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Some of you might have seen on FB, but DH has passed an internet milestone - someone started a Reddit thread to tear down one of his film reviews. So proud of my coprorate tool husband!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I loved him in Edge of Tomorrow. (I think there's going to be a sequel to that.)

Seriously? That would be amazing. Mostly because of Emily Blunt.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Well, the decision is taken out of my hands, because the timing on The Mummy doesn't work. So now it comes down to a rewatch of GotG2 or WW.

Congrats to DH, Jess!

I watched a fun sports movie last night: Chak De! India, a feel-good movie about female Indian field hockey players, starring Shah Rukh Khan as the coach trying to get the national Indian team to the World Cup. It hits all the beats of the classic sports movie, with the redemption story and the underdogs make good and all that. Filmed on location in Delhi and Melbourne. Very uplifting if it's the kind of movie you like.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The ads for that are looking interesting to me, and I'm not normally that big a fan of rom-coms.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Just saw The Big Sick and it was wonderful. Just lovely and smart and warm-hearted.
