Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

All I've heard is it's the worst Tom Cruise movie ever made.

Isn't that EVERY Tom Cruise movie?

Top Gun is a thing of beauty. Also suuuuuuper gay.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

someone I follow online said they enjoyed it and it was good old-fashioned monster movie with good effects and music. Accuracy in any way shape or form? no.

Having seen Losin' It, I'm now abandoning any thought of paying money to see this thing.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

He actually gives a good performance in Interview with the Vampire. I'm not just saying that because I'm a sad Anne Rice fangirl.

Everyone I know who is a fan of the horror genre said it was kinda boring, way too "action movie" in tone, and there wasn't enough of the Mummy. I know the reviews I've read haven't been good.

Just saw Baby Driver. Good, not great. And, like so many movies these days, about 15 minutes too long. Killer soundtrack.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've read a few reviews of The Mummy, and they'e all said, essentially, to watch the YouTube video of the trailer for the current movie where they messed up the audio for yuks and to get a sense of the aesthetic. Then go buy a DVD of the 1999 Mummy and watch that.

YES.

(Also Magnolia and Edge of Tomorrow. And most of the Mission Impossible movies. I wouldn't want to be stuck in an elevator with him, but as a movie star, he's all right.)

I loved him in Edge of Tomorrow. (I think there's going to be a sequel to that.)

I really want to rewatch Top Gun now. I think we have it on VHS somewhere. (we do actually still have a VCR, because it's part of a VCR/DVD player combo, which is still hooked up for some reason, even though we have a Blu-Ray player. I don't even know.)

Some of you might have seen on FB, but DH has passed an internet milestone - someone started a Reddit thread to tear down one of his film reviews. So proud of my coprorate tool husband!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I loved him in Edge of Tomorrow. (I think there's going to be a sequel to that.)

Seriously? That would be amazing. Mostly because of Emily Blunt.
