I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Great, thank you! I will probably decide based on which start time is most convenient.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So I've seen Gifted EIGHT times now and I think (I am putting this here instead of Facebook because my mother doesn't go here and my sister's father-in-law, who seems to like it, also doesn't go here, and blah blah blah) it was basically the movie catharsis for damn near everything I worked on in my last two-three years of therapy. Plus, you know, pretty people.

AND... yes, we're beyond spoiler rules, but hey... the whole Mona from Who's the Boss as first celebrity crush thing continues to be one of my favorite moments and I don't know if they intended to have Lindsay Duncan look all Katherine Helmond-y (only brittle and English), but given that she's usually blonde in roles, I'm leaning towards that being an intentional little bit of weird Freudian issues there.

I dunno, their relationship reminded me in some respects of my Dad's with Gram and was just very emotionally realistic in terms of the damage so, hey.

NOT THAT THE WHITEFONT APPLIES IN THAT CASE. IT'S THE OTHER STUFF I MEANT. Christ, I need to go to bed.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Just saw it this afternoon, myself. I wonder what Evans' toll of exploded ovaries is among women watching this movie?

Probably pretty damn high.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

This version of The Three Musketeers features Matthew Macfadyen, Luke Evans, Logan Lerman, James Corden, and Mads Mikkelson having an airship fight.

Edit: They just crashed on Notre Dame. (Spoiler alert.)

Art Crawl!!!

That sounds like an amusing version of the Three Musketeers.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Well, the co-worker watched Elmer Gantry and agreed that it's not a comedy. But he'd never heard of Burt Lancaster before ... how is that possible? or am I just that old or he's that young???
