This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

There were black extras in Crossroad Blues--in the jazz club where Robert Johnson was playing.

Also? A comment from Plei during AHBL 1: "It's the ferny part of North Dakota."

Also also? Every planet SG:1 landed on looked like PNW. And that one two-lane splitting the forest has been trudged and driven on by Jeremiah, Dark Angel, Eureka, Once Upon a Time, and SPN--others too, I'm sure.

hip deep in pie

When I was in Drama school in Vancouver in the 90s, the one black guy at our school used to make the same joke every time we were on an elevator...it was where the black actors in Vancouver held their meetings.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was living near Grand Junction when the Winchesters went there in Season 1...for Wendigo, I think. Yeah, it's not that geography, either.

Finally saw Lion and liked it more than I thought I would. In a year where I had problems with a number of "front-runner" scripts, I was very impressed by the structure. The young kid is incredible (and adorable) and deserves a nomination far more than Patel or Kidman.

Thrive to spite them

Florida geography gets weird. Silk Stallings was set in South Florida but showed cliffs a lot. One episode went to Tallahassee and looked more like south Florida.

The Glades at least admitted to making their own version of Florida but it was weird to see an episode where they drove from South Florida to panhandle area twice in a day as if they were driving an hour.

Warehouse 13 had a haunted prison situated on an old quarry with pictures of workers and what looked like a a mine entrance.
